Boost Up Your Adsense Revenue

Every Webmaster probably heard about Google's Adsense. Google Adsense is a pay-per-click (PPC) program that can give you advertising revenue from each page on your website with a minimal investment in time and no additional resources.

You will earn very little Adsense revenue if you don't know how to optimize your Adsense ads on your website. Time to boost your Adsense revenue now! So in this post I will share some tips to increase your Adsense revenue a lot.

Adsense ad format:Wider formats are successful because the ads are compact, easy to read and are complementary to the content. The Large Rectangle (336X280) ad format seems to work better than other ad formats because this format tends to result in higher click through rates (CTR). Another reason is that the ads will look like normal web links that visitors use to click on them. It doesn't matter whether the visitors know that they are clicking Adsense ads or not, as long as there are clicking, you earn Adsense commission. Never use picture ads in the content area! Only use text ads space in the content area. In the sidebar one I advise you to use a picture/text ads space whether 250px or 160px.

Use the SAME background as the blog post background. For the title colour use the same colour as the blog normal title colour or if you want use the red, orange or piercing blue colour if you are on a white background. For a black background, use fluo orange as title colour for the ads. This is to make your Adsense ads look like it is part of the web pages. Again, this will boost Adsense CTR.

Never use border for your ads! Never! If you are using a white background make the border colour white too! Always use the same border colour as the backgroud colour od the ads you are using. The theory is that your ads MUST not look like its asking people to click it. Instead focus on your blog post and people who are interested will click on the ads.

Don't place your Adsense ads at the bottom of your webpages because it is proven to be less effective. Displaying your Adsense ads at the bottom is like hiding your Adsense and thus leads to low CTR and Adsense revenue. Use the maximum of 3 ads space per page and ONLY 2 link ads per page. Use one ads space just between your post title and start of the post. Use the second ad space at the end of your article and use the third ads space in the sidebar.

Try to place your Adsense ads near rich content as visitors main focus usually are your content. Place your ads above the fold! I mean that your ads (except for the one at the end of the post) must be seen without any scrolling.

Thats all for now. These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to make hundreds and even thousands on their websites. You can learn more tricks by reading in Adsense and webmaster forums.
