How To Make Money Blogging

by Daniel Waser

There is a lot of motivation for anyone to become a logger. Some bloggers do it for the sheer fun of sharing their knowledge and idea on certain topic of interest, and others may participate in the hope to make a lot of money from blogging. There are many bloggers who have made it big and raking in thousands of dollars a month in cold hard cash.

The modern day landscape of the blogosphere offers more than a dozen ways to monetize a blog. You can opt for direct advertising, by selling ad spaces on your blog or you can choose to place affiliate links to other products and get a handsome commission from every sale made trough those links. There is potential to make money from new ways to monetize a blog if you are creative. There is one ingredient for success that you need to make it all work-the ‘big T’. So what is the mysterious big T? You probably guessed it right - traffic!

OK, let’s get back to business and discuss the ways you can make money from your blog, assuming that you do have a good traffic flow coming in to your blog. For the newbie, it is good to test out PayPerPost and ReviewMe. These are easy to start since they do not require you to have a certain amount of traffic before you can stat using them. For busy bloggers, these are indeed godsend. Another way to make money is to write reviews for others.

You can earn money directly if you choose to do this. However, there are some things to remember. Do not give up control to those services, and make a post only when you have to make a review. The presence of too many sponsored posts makes your blogs less credible. Accept sponsors for product review that are relevant to your niche.

If the financial rewards are dependant on the reader’s response, then you will be open to more options. A good example of this in action is affiliate links. With this option, you should have the aptitude to inject the existing contents of your blogs with the offers that let you earn money.

If your blog niche is credit repair, then use links to direct reader’s to products and services that are related. Make yourself ready to be dazzled by the result. If you wish to look for some profitable affiliate programs, search Share-a-Sale, and Commission Junction. You can locate some wonderful offers by going to the site.

You can choose content based advertising if you want something less intrusive. This is an ad program that will show only those that are relevant to the contents of the page. The Yahoo advertising and Google Adsense obviously use such programs for their ad network.

You can join into the league of successful people making lots of money through this system. You can expect to earn money from the traffic. Those ads are a part of the blogs so you will make money. Placing those ads will give your visitors extra information.

Start making money right now!

Find a few money making ideas you like. Find the ones that suit you. Blogging is a money making opportunity. There are some common traits to be found in all successful bloggers.

Your talent can be turned into a money making opportunity online. Make a fresh start by becoming a blogger today.

by Louis-Charles Martel

The internet offers a great many home business opportunities, and there is something for everyone. You will need to spend some time sorting through the huge variety of opportunities to find one that suits your skills and interests.

There is a lot of hype about internet scams, overnight millionaires and gurus, but if you can navigate around this, you will find many genuine business opportunities. You need to work a business to be successful, so it is unrealistic to expect to find an honest get-rich-quick scheme. Look for an opportunity that has proven itself and comes with a money-back-guarantee.

Contrary to popular opinion, you don’t need to have a lot of prior knowledge to have a successful internet based business. Even complete “newbies” (computer talk for someone new to the industry) can set up and run a web business. There is loads of information available to help you, and much of it is free.

If you are new to doing business online, you might decide on one of the programs that have everything already set up for you. This “business in a box” style of opportunity has done all the hard work of establishing the business. You simply put your name and domain into the system, promote your site and start to earn money quickly. Look for one that offers you training and support, and has been around for a while. There are some fees and charges to this type of business, so make sure you understand all the start-up and on-going costs before you sign up. You will earn a commission on new members you sign up to the program as well as when you sell the products.

If you have a product or service that you want to distribute via the internet, you need to set up a site, promote the product, attract potential customers and service your customers - either by doing it yourself, buying a complete package or outsourcing the tasks. Much of the technical work involved in setting up and running an internet business can be outsourced. There are sites where you can link up with providers of every service you need, from website builders to content writers to marketing specialists.

There are business opportunities that don’t revolve around having your own website. You may be interested in data entry work, doing virtual support work, writing or rewriting articles, product descriptions, ebooks or sales pages. You might want to answer emails, fill in surveys or transcribe information. There are several reputable freelancing sites where you can find people who are willing to pay for your services.

Internet marketing has become a huge business opportunity in recent years. Many website owners have affiliate programs that pay commissions to affiliates to promote their site or products. Check out affiliate sites where you can compare the different percentage rates of commission, and look for saleable products with little competition.

It will be easy to become confused by the variety and extent of the home business opportunities available on the internet today. Make sure you look at your available time, the costs involved in any opportunity you are considering, especially ongoing costs, any restrictive rules that might affect your earning potential and how long the business has been around.

Home Business Opportunity: A Great Way For Moms To Create Extra Income

by Louis-Charles Martel

Many mothers are looking for ways to make some extra income while staying at home with their young children. There is a home business opportunity that could suit you, if you are a stay at home mom.

The age of your children will be the most limiting factor when you are considering working from home. When they are babies and toddlers, their needs are more time consuming and your spare time may be limited. As your children grow older, there are fewer demands on your time. When they are all at school, you will have more time during the day to work on your home business.

When deciding on the type of business you want to have, look at the work experience you have and the skills you have developed, as these could be useful. Also consider the number of hours any business will need, the support you can expect from other members of the family and whether you have access to computer and internet.

A great home business for those whose spare time is limited is filling out surveys. There are numerous companies that require your opinion on a variety of issues, and are willing to pay you to complete surveys online. The range of fees paid for surveys varies considerably from a few dollars for 20 minutes of your time, up to $50 for surveys that take longer. The advantage of this type of home business opportunity, for a busy mom, is that you can work in your own time and at your own pace, doing as much or as little as you want.

If you are happy to do some walking, there are business opportunities for you. Direct marketing is the preferred method for many companies and you could earn some money distributing literature to mail boxes or catalogs to homes in your area. Direct selling companies offer opportunities for you to sell products to friends, family and neighbors. You can walk with your younger children or do the work while they are at school.

If you have internet access, there is a wealth of opportunity in internet marketing that can be taken up by moms at home. You will need to research the huge number of opportunities so that you find the right one for you, so you need to make sure you have the time to do this properly. There are several pre-prepared businesses available, often called a “plug in” site, where the business is set up for you just to plug into and start straight away. Another good place to start is in affiliate marketing, where you are paid a commission by the company whose product you are promoting. When a customer buys the product, after going to the main website from your site, you receive a pre-arranged commission. These vary greatly, so research different products to find the best commissions.

There are websites that specialize in affiliate marketing opportunities; ClickBank is one of these. You will find lots of products and services, various companies and your choice of opportunities, all on the one website. You are able to research statistics to find the most profitable products on which to build your new home business.

The home business opportunity that is most suited to your needs is out there; do some research to find a way to earn some extra cash from home.

Income Benfits From Home Based Business.

by Louis-Charles Martel

In 2003 Stone Evans discovered how to make a living on the internet. Stone Evans decided to share his knowledge with the World Wide Web to help others become financially successful like him and making a residual income business, therefore creating the Plug-In Profit website.

Plug-In Profit sites are a home-based business opportunity websites that are created within 24 hours and posted on a Host4Profit server, promoting affiliate programs and products. These products may include products from click bank, advertising from Traffic Swarm and products from Strong Future International (SFI).

To make the money from the Plug-In Profit web pages you need to get visitors from your site to purchase a product or follow an affiliate link to join a program where you will earn a commission of up to 50% of the sign up fee or product price. Or you could earn money if someone creates their own plug-in profit website via your site you will make a residual commission from hosting fees.

Benefits from signing up with a plug-in profit website it that training manuals are provided when you sign up for the program. You can use these manuals to refer back to at anytime and there are no lengthy courses to attend. With even the most basic pc skills you are able to compete in this home business venture. If you have technical internet skills that will be an advantage for you as you will be able to alter your website and possible gaining more visitors to your site, and knowing how to advertise your page at a more cost effective and effiecient way.

The disadvantages from plug-in profit are that it is a very competitive business and may be harder to break then some other internet based businesses. Plug-in profit is not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme either. It may take months to start seeing a profit, unless you are experienced in the internet marketing business. You will need to put in the time and effort for the business to work.

Many of the programs in plug-in profit business are MLM, Multi Level Marketing. In MLM you will earn a portion of the commission of each person who signs up from your website, some people may see MLM as a disadvantage, but if you are putting in the work and the people under you are putting in the work and everyone is making money, this does not look like a disadvantage.

There are ongoing fees required for this business. You will need to pay a joining fee and many programs require monthly payments for hosting and advertising. This business is not recommended for people who do not have the money to join, or who cannot put the time in to promote their website.

If you are ready to put the hours and work into this business, then this business is suitable for a beginner to an advanced internet business marketer. If you have the desire to be able to work from home and create a safe and financially stable future for yourself and your family this may be the home based business that you require.

Please, I Want To Make Money On The Internet

by David Lim

I am currently running a website about home based businesses that I started a few years ago. It is a simple guide to home based businesses. It is basically an informational site and the main revenue is from ads and not from product sales.

Occasionally, I will get an email that will read something like this:

“Sir, tell me how to make money on the Internet.”

For the first year or so, I took the trouble to craft a few paragraphs as my reply, essentially repeating what I said on my website. I would also ask about the background of the sender, so that I may be in a position to better understand what he wants and what he can do.

I will not hear from them again. After a while, I got the feeling that the sender was looking for something that he could register to, pay the membership fee, do a few simple tasks, and make real good money.

Come to think of it, somebody did email me and told me he liked my site very much. And that he would very much like to join my site. It took me a moment before I realized that he was thinking that my site was some sort of business opportunity that he could join and make money.

I studied electronics engineering at a local college for 3 years. I did electronics design for a further 10 years. It is only after this period of time that the industry considered me good and experienced enough to be earning a few thousand dollars a month.

Many sites will tell you that you can potentially make a few thousand dollars a month if you work their program. Every single time, they will also tell you that anybody can do it and no experience is needed. In fact, they will tell you that an unemployed odd job laborer made $1200 after his first month on their program, or something similar.

The only thing I can say is, “Use your head.”

If somebody approached you on the street, and offered you $100 to deliver a parcel for him to a downtown address, would you do it? The errand would only take half an hour of your time, and he would pay you there and then.

I can only hope that you make some kind of excuse and walk away real quick. Actually, running will be a good idea.

You know that he is not going to practically give you $100 and that there is definitely a catch involved. He is probably hoping that you will stick around to find out and he will convince you into doing it.

The Internet has been called the most revolutionary development in the history of human communication, or the great equalizer, or the information superhighway. Whichever superlatives you use, the same rules regarding money still apply to the Internet. Money still has to be earned and competition for it is extremely keen. So, the sooner you get off “the roads are paved with gold” mentality, the sooner you will start putting in the time and work needed for a successful home business.

Tips to Succeed with Adsense

As you use Google’s AdSense for more and more time you begin to learn from the mistakes of the past, and you slowly begin to realize which of your actions kept your site from reaching its full potential.

But an important part to making a mistake is telling people about it and teaching them how to avoid making the same mistake. So this is a list of the top five mistakes people using AdSense make.

You should read them well, and see if any of them is applicable to your contents. If it is, you must stop and attempt to fix such errors as quickly as possible.

The first major no-no that everyone seems to be hitting at one point or another has to do with breaking the rules. Google’s AdSense is a great program but it relies on you respecting a few set rules.

The most important thing is not to create “artificial clicks” through any means possible. Never click your own links, never ask your friends or close ones to click the links and never, by any means have your content encouraging the visitors to click the links. You run the risk of being permanently banned, and that will definitely damage your revenue.

Failing to comply with Google’s terms could have your AdSense account suspended. And this is why this rule is by all means the most important one of all. It’s because this is the difference between life or death.

The second thing users get wrong a lot of time is having a bad color palette for ads. Many times this happens because the publishers aren’t knowledgeable enough to change default color palettes.

Others just can’t seem to spend enough time in changing those defaults. Having bad ads that stand out is sure to push people away from clicking; whilst having something which is clearly visible yet distinctive will.

Third, of course, the position of the ads is probably the key element you should get right if you want to maximize your profits with AdSense. This is noted in a lot of places on the web and Google talks about this as well. Google can provide you with statistics which illustrate what positions work particularly well on your website.

Fourthly, banner ads are also a very bad idea if you’re using AdSense. 480×60 type ads are a sure way to drive many people away as most Internet surfers have developed a natural resistance to such means of advertising.

And last, but clearly not least, is not taking care of the site running the ads. Because ultimately it doesn’t matter how cool the site is itself. If it doesn’t have updated contents and a lot of daily visitors it will probably never earn you any serious AdSense revenues.

So these are the most important five things people get wrong while using the AdSense program. But of course if you don’t like this means of expressing the issues, here are the top five things you should do to ensure your AdSense ads are constantly bringing in that revenue.

Never break Google’s policy. Don’t make visitors create “artificial clicks” on your website regardless of the person doing so or the reason. Make sure your ads have the right colors that blend in with your site, and make sure they’re positioned in the right places to attract as many customers as possible. Always try to avoid using banner-like (480×60) adds unless you really know what you’re doing and constantly keep your site fresh and up to date.

So with that in mind you should be raising your AdSense revenues in no time.

Adsense and Niche Websites

By: web-money-advices.com

What niche should I choose for my site in order to make money with adsense?” I am sure many of you have heard this questions at least once.

First of all, I would not recomnend to anybody to start a website or a blog just to make money with adsense (or any kind of money-making program); I know that this is probably not what you would like to hear, but keep in mind that no matter what anybody tells you, it make take some time before you would gain a decent exposure on the web, and if you are not prepared for this, you’re in for a disappointment. You can not be successful at something if you don’t like it.

However, judging from another point of view, it is always nice to be rewarded for your hard work and commitment even if you don’t do it JUST for the money or in other words. sometimes is good to combine business with pleasure.

So let’s get to the point of this article. Why do some bloggers and website owners make more money with adsense than others, even though they have comparable traffic and they have carefully followed all the advices out there (such as ad placement and blending the adsense ads with the layout of the site)? In my opinion, in the end it all comes down to the actual niche of the website and the audience that is attracted by that specific niche.

You have to make sure that there is a market out there for the subject that you have chosen. You can not make a website about UFOs and expect to make money with adsense. I am not saying that you could not monetize it at all; if it attracts traffic, there are a lot of solutions to make money from it, but adsense will not be one of them. The UFO example is a little bit extreme, but I gave it just to have a general idea. Politics and other topics of this kind fall into the same category.

In order to be able to make money with adsense you need to focus either on products or services. But still you need to think about the profile of the audience that you will attract depending on the topic of your website. For example a product related website will always make much more than a site about SEO, for 2 main reasons:

1: People that are visiting a website that is focused on reviewing a specific type of products (digital cameras, phones, etc.) are more likely to click on the adsense ads especially because there is a far better chance that the actual product that is advertised would interest them.
Visitors of a SEO website don’t give a damn about the ads as 90% of them will be most probably promoting ebooks.

2: Another reason would be because visitors of a SEO website are web-savy and they almost automatically avoid the ads, while for the other situation the audience may not even be interested if they click on an ad or another section of your website. This can vary depending of the nature of the products that you are promoting; many people say that websites dedicated to women and teenagers products have the highest CTR; and I tend to believe it.

One last thing before you start the work, make sure to check the competition of the niche that you are thinking about. I have described how to do that in “Choosing a niche” article.

Adsense Friendly Content

By: web-money-advices.com

Probably the most important ingredient to monetizing your site with adsense is the content. Although everybody agrees to this, many seem not to pay attention to some aspects that actually make the difference between “good quality content” that google in general and adsense in particular, loves, and mediocre content.

1: Don’t write “posts”, write “articles” : When you write about something, make sure you have a comprehensive review of that specific topic and not just a 3-4 sentences “mini article”. It is easier to fall into this trap if you own a blog-type website. Many bloggers out there tend to think that posting every day is a must, not only for keeping their readers entertained, but to profit from pinging the blog directories to let them know how often they add fresh content.

Don’t get me wrong, updating daily is really a good thing, but don’t do it just for the fun of it. Small posts will eventually affect your credibility and eventually, your readers will find a better place to hang out. Well written documented articles will give you credibility, people will link to you, your site will attract more traffic and you have a better chance to become an authority in the field.

You may probably ask “ok, but what does adsense has to do with all that?”. Well besides, generating traffic to your website (which is the dream of every webmaster, especially if he uses adsense), comprehensive articles have a lot better chance to trigger targeted keywords that will interest your users and make them click on them; and that is what you are after, aren’t you? Which brings us to the next step:

2: Write with keywords in mind : If you want to maximize your chance to trigger better targeted keywords from adsense, you have to anticipate a little.

First, write your article without thinking of adsense at all; make it sound good and coherent to the reader and when you are happy with the outcome, save it as a draft.Take a short brake and think of the keywords that you are trying to trigger from the adsense ads with your article and write them down on a sheet of paper. Re-read your article and place the keywords where you think they fit. You may also want to replace some words in your article with the keywords that you have written down (where they match, of course) but it is very important that you don’t abuse it. You still need to keep it sound good to the users, and repeated keywords, if they are not place properly, may sound very annoying.

3: Don’t mix the topics: With the points mentioned above in mind, it is almost obvious that you have to concentrate on a single topic on each page, in order to trigger targeted keywords from adsense ads. Again, bloggers, due to the nature of the blogging platform, seem to make the mistake of having a really long welcoming page filled with posts on different subjects. This not only bad for adsense, but it also harms the search engine positioning, not to mention that is not esthetic either.

There are 2 solutions to avoid this:

a) Allow only one post per page.

b) Make static html page for your home page. This tends to be a better solution because it will allow to show more posts within each category, which will actually be a positive thing, since the subject of all post in a category should be the same.

No matter if you have a blog or a website, the main idea is to keep each topic on a single page with an appropriate titles and headings.
